Mike Wood serves as a Special Advisor to SellingSkills.io, bringing more than three decades of experience as a creative, innovation, and product development leader. His career reflects a unique mix of expertise spanning design, marketing, hospitality, entrepreneurship, and retail, with a proven track record of building brands, launching successful product lines, and driving innovation across consumer-focused industries.

Mike spent fourteen years at Disney Parks & Resorts in roles of increasing responsibility — beginning as a Graphic Designer at Walt Disney World and culminating as Design Manager in the Softlines Division of the Disney Design Group, where he provided art direction for more than 2,500 products. As Design Manager for the Disneyland Resort, he led the development of merchandise programs for the Disneyland 50th Anniversary Global Celebration, exceeding revenue plans, and developed the Golden Ears Hat concept that launched a incremental headwear business. He later served for nine years as Product Development Director for Gold Crown Retail at Hallmark Cards, where he originated and led the development of the Hallmark itty bittys collectible plush franchise. He currently serves as Senior Creative Director of Design and Development at DecoPac, Inc., and previously was Product Design Director at DEMDACO.

Mike holds two degrees from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and was named an honorary lifelong member of the Louisiana House of Representatives in 1998.
