Jon Parks

Jon Parks joins SellingSkills.io as an Industry and Technical Advisor, bringing 25 years of nonprofit leadership and entertainment industry experience, with particular depth in music. Based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Jon serves as Executive Director of the Interfaith Federation of Greater Baton Rouge and as Co-Pastor at University Baptist Church, drawing on a career of ministry and nonprofit leadership nationally and internationally. From 2012 to 2021, he and his family lived in Slovakia, leading education and community development initiatives among the Romani people, an experience that shaped his perspective on cross-cultural engagement and mission-driven program design.

A pastor, musician, coach, and published author, Jon holds a Bachelor of Music in Theory and Composition and a Master of Church Music from Samford University, along with a Master of Divinity from Beeson Divinity School. His combined expertise in nonprofit operations, fundraising, community partnership, and the entertainment field positions him to advise SellingSkills.io on sales training tailored to nonprofit organizations and the entertainment industry.
